To me, one of life’s greatest lessons is developing the discipline and desire to continually improve yourself. No matter who you are, what your occupation is, and what your skills are, there is always room to grow. I am constantly trying to push myself to find ways I can get closer to my goals, dreams, vision as an entrepreneur, partner, daughter, and friend.
The Fierce Walker has helped to become more open to believe in the power of my dreams and to execute my brand flawlessly.

To have a voice and platform to showcase my talent, skills and pave the way for people like me.

Today, I wanted to talk about something that’s been wavering on my mind: social media. One of the biggest complaints I hear these days is about how hard it is to grow on social media, particularly Instagram. Everyone likes to claim it’s not a numbers game, at the end of the day, it ends up being a numbers game. It sucks to say, but it is true. This can be extremely discouraging for aspiring influencers to hear; however, I want to encourage you to not get lost in the nonessential. Instead, focus on making your brand reputable and posting quality content.

People right now want to see influencers and content creators who are grounded, relatable, adaptable and realistic. Who aren’t flaunting wealth or pushing products just to show off something during a time when the income of so many is uncertain.

  1. TELL A STORY BEHIND THE IMAGE (Storytelling is the Key)

It’s no longer sufficient to just post pretty visuals. Whether you’re using Instagram for personal or business use, always ask yourself “ What is the story behind this image? What value am I sharing with my followers? Why am I sharing it? What is the end goal?”

One of the best ways to build a following is by engaging with others. Pick a place you know your audience likes to hang out at – like a particular coffee shop or wine bar. Doing this for just 20-30 minutes per day can drive huge results.

Social media platforms, like Instagram and Facebook, will push content using new features to the top. That means, take advantage of IGTV, IG Live, and stories. Apparently, stories are growing significantly faster than the feed itself. Especially nowadays that a lot of people engage more in stories because it’s more authentic and spontaneous compare to a curated feed.

Try doing different types of digital mediums like GIFs, videos, memes, digital illustrations, etc… This will help your audience to stay connected and get inspired to be creative like you. It is refreshing to see a feed that does different forms of a medium in order to showcase a person’s flexibility and authenticity as a brand in different forms.

Always post something on your Instagram this will help you to stay connected with your audience. It will also generate a lot of content that will give you a reputation for creating content.

Stay Safe and Fierce!
